Iain Naismith
Iain is a senior research fellow at IKT - Institute for Underground Infrastructure, a German not-for-profit engineering research institute specialising in extending the life of ageing sewer networks and urban drainage. He leads IKT's international projects including its current 'LinKa Project' exploring the limits of application of CIPP liners in larger diameter sewers, which Australian and New Zealand Water Agencies are participating in. Iain is based in the UK, where he Chairs the UK Society for Trenchless Technology’s (UKSTTs) Technical and Education Sub-Committee and Chairs the Sewer Rehabilitation Contact Group for managers from the UK and Ireland’s sewer network owners.
