No-Dig Down Under 2025 kicks off today at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, bringing together trenchless industry leaders, innovators, and specialists from across Australia and around the globe.
The southern hemisphere’s only large-scale conference dedicated to trenchless technology, No-Dig Down Under 2025 will showcase equipment and solutions from more than 100 exhibitors in the FREE trade expo, as well as dozens of expert conference sessions from some of the industry’s most experienced and trusted members.

Join us in the Foyer from 8:45am-9:00am for registration and a welcome coffee, before moving over to the Auditorium for the Opening Address from ASTT secretary Trevor Gosatti.
A keynote from Samuel T. Ariaratnam focusing on decarbonising, digitising, and deploying smarter infrastructure will kick off our conference streams at 9:15am, before leaders from local water authorities will come together for a panel discussion to discuss current challenges, emerging opportunities, and the strategies shaping the future of water utilities.
Following Morning Tea – sponsored by Step Oiltools, technical sessions will begin across three streams; New Installation, Rehabilitation and Other. Attendees can delve into topics such as fitted liner innovations, modern jacking pipe design, and incident-led strategies for managing ageing assets.
Lunch will be held between 12:30-2:30, sponsored by KRE Engineering, where attendees can rest their legs, fill up, and take advantage of the many exhibitor stalls.
Presentations will continue with case studies ranging from asbestos cement pipeline rehabilitation to exit-side HDD operation improvements, and notable projects like the Gold Coast Light Rail and Avoca Lagoon Water Trunk Main.
In the afternoon, the spotlight turns to international perspectives on quality assurance, trenchless technology in urban infrastructure, and cutting-edge applications of AI in wastewater management. The day concludes with further case studies including the Hobsons Bay Main Sewer duplication and the Jansz IO HDD project, showcasing innovation at scale.
As the first day draws to a close, attendees are invited to continue networking at the Vermeer Australia Networking Evening. This is the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect with peers, and exchange insights from a full day of trenchless knowledge-sharing.
