Amiblu Australia to showcase 20 years of local GRP innovation at No-Dig Down Under 2025

In 2025, Amiblu Australia will celebrate a milestone – 20 years of manufacturing glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) pipe solutions right here in Australia. From its base in Lonsdale, South Australia, the company has supplied thousands of major government infrastructure projects nationwide, earning a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.

What sets Amiblu apart is simple: it is the only Australian manufacturer of GRP pipe specifically engineered for trenchless technologies. This highly specialised construction method allows new or replacement pipelines to be installed with minimal disruption to roads, communities, and the environment — a capability increasingly vital in today’s urban infrastructure projects.

Since opening its doors in 2005, Amiblu Australia has combined global engineering know-how with local manufacturing expertise. Its Flowtite™ and Hobas™ GRP systems have become trusted solutions for potable water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, and hydropower applications. Known for exceptional corrosion resistance, high strength-to-weight performance, and a service life of more than 50 years, these systems offer unmatched long-term value.

By manufacturing locally, Amiblu not only supports skilled Australian jobs but also reduces project lead times and lowers the carbon footprint associated with importing large-scale infrastructure products. This has made the company a preferred partner for government agencies and contractors looking for sustainable, future-proof solutions.

This September, Amiblu will showcase its trenchless technology expertise at No-Dig Down Under 2025, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest trenchless technology conference and exhibition. Visitors to Stand E22 will be able to explore Amiblu’s advanced GRP solutions, view recent project case studies, and speak directly with technical experts from both the Australian and international teams.

“For two decades, we’ve been proud to help deliver the essential water infrastructure that communities depend on,” says Alexis Capoul, Managing Director, Amiblu Pipe Systems.

“No-Dig Down Under is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how Australian-made GRP pipe is leading the way in trenchless applications — reducing disruption, enhancing sustainability, and delivering lasting performance.”

As infrastructure demands continue to grow, Amiblu’s commitment to local production, innovation, and environmentally responsible solutions positions it as a key player in Australia’s water future. The company’s blend of global expertise and local capability ensures it can meet the challenges of tomorrow while continuing to serve the needs of today.

No-Dig Down Under is the southern hemisphere’s only large scale conference and exhibition dedicated to trenchless technology. Organised in partnership with the Australasian Society for Trenchless Technology (ASTT), No-Dig Down Under has grown over the years to become the second largest no-dig technology event in the world, and is now considered a ‘must-attend’ for all industry professionals.
